La Maladrerie - The House

La Maladrerie is a small house, perfect for two people but if necessary it can sleep four.

The living room has a wood-burning fireplace and also a television with satellite decoder (only free-to-air channels), a DVD player and stereo system. There are two reclining armchairs and a settee, and electric radiators for chilly evenings.

The IKEA fitted kitchen has a three-ring gas cooker (with wok-ring), double sink, combi microwave/hot-air oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Plenty of cupboards and drawers provide adequate storage. Accessories include electric kettle, filter coffee maker, Senseo machine, citrus press, mixer, food processor and breadmaker.

The bathroom has double washbasin, hanging WC and shower with thermostatic tap. A fan heater quickly warms the room, and there are bathroom scales, hairdryer and an electric toothbrush.

The dining niche has a table and four chairs, and also a computer desk. La Maladrerie has ADSL and WiFi, so bring your laptop!

The master bedroom has a 160 cm double bed and a large built-in wall unit with hanging and cupboard space.

The second bedroom has two single beds and a wardrobe.

Both bedrooms have mirrors, reading lamps, smoke detectors and electric radiators.

In the scullery is a washing machine and plenty of storage space.

The veranda is where you will spend most of your time (unless you are enjoying the region); two metres wide, it has four reclining chairs and a large table. It is roofed and lighted, faces due south and looks out over the river Aveyron.

At the side of the house is a conservatory.

Inside La Maladrerie is no smoking; however there are ashtrays on the veranda.
